The Retford Operatic Society are organising a fireworks display at Morton Farm on Saturday 8th November. The cost will be £5 per person. More information to follow.
The MOB have been invited to sing at a concert organised by Tuxford Church on Saturday 18th October. Most of the songs will be from Les Miserables but if anyone wishes to sing solo or in small groups please come to auditions (below). More information to follow.
We need a new Eponine and Girl Five for concerts and possible a show. So auditions will be held on Sunday 21st September between 2pm and 3pm and for anyone who would like to do an individual piece in concerts, auditions will be held between 3pm and 4pm, please bring a piece of music with you.
The first MOB rehearsal after the summer holidays is on Sunday 7th September 2008 at 4pm.
Congratulations to Helen and Nicole on their splendid A Level results and really well done to all those who have taken GCSEs.

NODA Award for HONK!
Our 2007 production of "Honk" has won the
NODA Best District Youth
Production Award for East Midland Region.
Certificates were presented to various members of the cast and crew for
their part in the production at the Annual Awards Ceremony, Concordia
Theatre, Hinckley on Sunday 13th April 2008.
