Hi there everyone, just wanted to wish you all good luck! I was a member of MOB for a good chunk of my teens, and can't say enough how much it has helped me. I'm currently studying Musical Theatre at the Northern Academy of Performing Arts in Hull, and also at Rainbow Connection in Doncaster, and next year I'll be in London doing a Professional Diploma in Performing Arts at the Italia Conti Academy! Thanks for a great grounding in musical theatre repertoire and a LOT of fun. 1'm certain Les Mis is going to be a huge success. Break a leg (not literally ... )

After graduating from MADD, Gemma moved down to London to further her dancing career where she has had many opportunities to do what she loves and has trained for all of her life. Daniel Kent
Since leaving The Mob Daniel studied for a degree in Acting (Performance) at Bretton Hall in West Yorkshire. Alongside his studies he taught Drama at HMP Newhall, taught voice classes at Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield, won the prestigious David Gover Singing Festival, was in a prize-winning short film and leant his voice to a singing crow. Still wondering how on earth he'd managed to pass his degree he travelled to London to study under Mary Hammond at the Royal Academy of Music. In 2005 he played the lead role in Mike Dixon's new musical "Irish" and a leading role at the London New Musical Theatre Festival. After spending some time in New York he decided it might be time to get a proper job but when nobody would take him he went to work for PEEL, a production company providing entertainment to the Cruise industry where he still works as Team leader and Vocal Coach. He wishes The Mob every success with Les Mis and for the future and would like to thank everyone. If it wasn't for The Mob he wouldn't be sat in the sunshine of Majorca writing this e-mail.

As one of the original members of the Mob it is amazing to see that they are still going strong and
providing performing opportunities for children and young adults. I started performing with the Mob in 1991 and later took over as Director and Choreographer along with Sarah Mitchell. I left the Mob in 1997 when I went to the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama to train professionally as an actor. Upon graduation I went into the West End company of Starlight Express where I played Turnov and understudied and played Dustin and Rusty. In 2003 I was extremely lucky to be part of the original West End cast of Jerry Springer - The Opera, where I was a Swing and Dance Captain. Since then I have been in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds, High Society at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London, and more recently the UK and Scandinavian Tour of Starlight Express.
It is ironic that 17 years on the very youth group that provided me with my first taste of Musical Theatre should be performing Les MisérabIes whilst I myself am part of the-current West End cast ofLes Misérables
performing at the Queens Theatre as Swing and understudy Thénardier.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in the Mob all the love and luck in the world and continued success with all their future productions.
Break a leg guys...

When I started mob in 2004 I automatically loved it. The atmosphere was amazing and everybody was lovely and friendly. There was always something to look forward to, whether it was a production or a concert, and I felt like there was always something to challenge me - meaning I learnt something new every week. It's been an amazing 5 years with the M.O.B, and I miss it deeply. Now I go to Studio La Pointe College in Leeds and am studying Performing Arts. I will always remember where I performed my first full show on an actual stage! It gave me the confidence to release my dream. Thank you M.O.B! Also, I have made friends for life and memories to last forever. I’d recommend it to anybody.
