History
The MOB was formed in 1991 as the junior branch of the Retford Amateur Operatic Society with the simple goal of encouraging young people to take part in dramatic productions and musical concerts.

Since its formation the MOB has grown from to approximately 50 child members each of whom take part in the large musical show performed annually at either the majestic or little theatre in Retford.

The MOB has performed a huge range of shows in the 17 years it has existed:

1992 - Cinderella
1993 - Dracular Spectacular

2004 - The Wizard of Oz (Little Theatre)
2005 - Bugsy Malone (Little Theatre)
2006 - The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe (Little Theatre)
2007 - HONK! (Little Theatre)
2008 - Les Misérables: Schools Edition ( Majestic Theatre)
