The Committee is responsible for the running of the MOB. This entails:

Selecting a suitable short list of show for the Mobsters to vote on.

Organising Concerts.

Co-ordinating with the musical director, producer, an chaperones to ensure all rehearsals are appropriately staffed.

Advertising shows.

Selecting the cast for each show.

Resolving disputes between members.

Listening to the opions of the mobsters and their parents and attempting to reach a satisfactory outcome.

Choosing the Committee
Meeting Minutes

The Society shall be managed by an Elected Committee elected at the Annual General Meeting consisting of the following Officers, namely: Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Child Protection Officer, and 2 Members. Also two Junior members between the ages of 12 - 18 to be elected at the AGM by the junior members only. The position of Child protection officer may be held, if necessary, by one of the other three elected positions.
Any parent/carer of a Mob member who has been an active member for a minimum period of 9 months

Any past member of the Mob who was an active member for a minimum period of 2 years. Any fully paid up member of the Retford Operatic Society who has been an active member for a minimum period of 2 years. Any Mob member who the elected committee consider mature enough to perform the post. Are eligible to hold a position on the Elected Committee.
